Dr. Yael Leizerovich Bar-Zion                                            

Dr. Yael Bar-Zion is a board certified pediatric dentist.  She graduated UCLA, School of Dentistry in 1999, and received her Clinical Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Texas, Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2001. 

Dr. Bar-Zion opened her private pediatric dental office in 2002.  She volunteers her free time performing dental presentations, and educating children and parents about dentistry and oral health.  She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.

She resides here in Newbury Park, with her husband (also a dentist), and two children.

     
   

Dr. Sahar Doostzadeh


Dr. Sahar Doostzadeh is a board certified pediatric dentist.  Dr. Sahar received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with high honors from the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her dental training at UNLV School of Dental Medicine, where she was dedicated to leadership and community service. After dental school, Dr. Sahar continued her training at UCLA where she completed a Hospital Dentistry Residency, and her pediatric dentistry specialty training.

Dr. Sahar has dedicated much of her time to treating underserved populations during dental missions abroad including Haiti, Mexico, Tonga and Peru. She also serves as a clinical instructor for the University of California, Los Angeles and teaches the dental students the art of pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Sahar grew up in Southern California and enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and staying active to keep up with their nine year old. 


Dr. Parnaz Mansouri

                                              


Dr. Parnaz Mansouri received her Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience from UCLA in 2000. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004 from UCLA and was then awarded her Certification in Pediatric Dentistry after completing two additional years of specialty training at James Whitcomb Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Mansouri received her Board Certification in 2011 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. As a mother of three young children, Dr. Mansouri understands the joys and challenges of caring for children and their teeth! She uses her skills as a pediatric specialist and a mom to provide a playful and loving environment that makes visiting the dentist fun for your children.

   

Dr. Namie Kong

                                                                          

Dr. Namie Kong grew up in Northbrook, Illinois and received her bachelor’s degree with high honors in Neuroscience from Wellesley College in Massachusetts. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to complete a General Practice Residency in New York.  Dr. Kong worked for two years in a private practice in Dallas, Texas and it was during this time that she realized her passion for treating the pediatric population. She pursued this goal and obtained her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Rochester in New York, where she received the Basil G. Bibby award for her research on mobile dental units and their role in treating underserved children.  

Dr. Kong's passion for treating underserved children has led her abroad to multiple dental missions trips to Guatemala and Honduras. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Kong enjoys exploring the city with her husband, reading mystery novels, and spending time with her incredibly cute cats.
